BACKGROUND CHECKS, VERIFICATION & PROFESSIONAL HR SUPPORT POLICY

1. PROFESSIONAL HR & CAREER SUPPORT FOR JOBSEEKERS

Don’t get frustrated with your job search or career journey. Let CareerEdu Personnel, an HR recruitment firm with over 5 years of proven impact, assist you.

As an HR recruitment firm, we provide:

• 1. Comprehensive Candidate Support: Expert CV and cover letter reviews, interview preparation, and personalized career coaching to position you for success.

• 2. Efficient Recruitment & Placement: Streamlined candidate screening, background checks, and job placement services, with placements as fast as same-day or within 3-14 days, depending on the role.

• 3. Global Opportunities: Specialized assistance for study and work abroad programs, including exclusive study offers in Ghana, tailored to your career goals.

2. ₵50 BACKGROUND CHECKS, CAREER/HR SUPPORT & VERIFICATION POLICY

A candidate pays a one-time ₵50 fee which covers:

• Data correction & background check verification

• Administrative costs & commitment fee

• Basic CV/cover letter review

• Basic career guidance & interview coaching

• Job application guidance and assistance

Benefits:

• Added to our Verified Applicant Database

• Unlimited job applications until placed

• 5–10 minutes of direct HR & career support (optional)

• Access to job opportunities at no extra cost until hired

 

Important Notice:

This GHS50 fee is NOT an agency fee to secure you a job.

It does NOT guarantee a job.

It is NON-REFUNDABLE because it is a commitment fee that supports the career, HR, and job search services we provide.

This fee covers the cost of candidate screening, background checks, and verification so employers can have confidence and trust when considering you for available job offers.

It also gives you added value and benefits beyond just searching or applying for jobs through CareerEdu Personnel. Some added benefits are basic CV review, background checks, career guidance, interview coaching, and more.

However, you will be presented with different job opportunities and employers until you secure one, and you will remain in our Verified Candidate Database for current or future jobs.

3. ADDITIONAL FEES & REFUNDS

About 10% of jobs may require an extra fee (GHS100-GHS200+) if employers don’t cover recruitment or processing costs.

Refunds are available for any amount above GHS 50 if placement fails due to us (not candidate’s fault or negligence).

SOME JOBS COME WITH NO UPFRONT FEES OR DEDUCTIONS BECAUSE CERTAIN
EMPLOYERS FULLY COVER RECRUITMENT COSTS.

4. REFUND POLICY

The GHS50 Background Checks & Career/HR Support fee is strictly NON-REFUNDABLE.

It is a one-time commitment fee that covers candidate screening, background checks, verification, and basic HR/career support services.

Refunds might only be available for any amount above GHS 50 if a placement fails due to CareerEdu Personnel’s fault (not candidate negligence, dishonesty, or refusal to complete mandatory processes such as
CV revamp, coaching, or readiness training etc

5. SALARY DEDUCTION POLICY

Recruitment fees are usually paid by employers. Where they are not:

A one-time amount of GHS 200 – GHS 500+ (or more, depending on the offer) is payable from the candidate’s first month’s salary.

Or 25% of the first-month salary/pay if no specific amount is mentioned.

This payment must be made on the same day salary is received.

In some cases, this amount may be deducted directly by the employer and paid to CareerEdu Personnel.

Candidates must always confirm with both CareerEdu Personnel and the employer whether deductions are made directly or require direct payment.

This is a one-time payment only.

Late repayment attracts a 50% penalty + 5% daily interest until paid. Serious action will be taken against candidates who fail to pay, to recover outstanding fees.

These deductions sustain CareerEdu services such as office operations, recruiter salaries, logistics, and ongoing candidate support.

6. CANDIDATE READINESS & EXCELLENCE POLICY

After CV review and candidate screening:

CANDIDATES WHO NEED A PROFESSIONAL CV, COVER LETTER, OR FULL INTERVIEW COACHING/PREPARATION MUST COMPLETE THIS THROUGH CAREEREDEU PERSONNEL.

This cannot or should not be done by yourself or someone else.

We are experienced recruitment professionals who know what works and what employers want.

Skipping this or doing it elsewhere may reduce your chances of securing Interviews or job search success

This process ensures your CV, cover letter, and interview skills meet professional standards and increases your likelihood of securing the best opportunities.

We ensure candidates are fully prepared and professional before presenting them to employers, as employers reject, disqualify or do not give attention or invite candidates with unprofessional or weak CVs and presentations.


Candidate Options if Not Interested in Job Readiness Process:

• Apply only for jobs without readiness requirements

• Decline current offers and wait for alternatives

• Stay in our database until a suitable role arises

SOME OF THE JOBS AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES COME WITH NO UPFRONT FEES OR DEDUCTIONS BECAUSE CERTAIN EMPLOYERS FULLY OR PARTIALLY COVER FEES AND COSTS.

You can still get a job or other career opportunities from CareerEdu Personnel without any upfront fees or salary deductions. However, your options may be limited, and you may not receive our basic HR and career support benefits such as CV review basic career guidance, basic interview coaching, basic background checks, and ongoing career support services.
